Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity has undertaken programs aimed at enriching and improving life for African-American youth nationwide. One of our key programs is identifying and supporting African-American male students who plan to enter college.
Integral Care helps people build health and well-being so everyone has the foundation to reach their full potential. We support adults and children living with mental illness, substance use disorder, and intellectual and developmental disabilities in Travis County.

At the annual Central Texas African American Family Support Conference (CTAAFSC), we come together to promote our own health and wellness and that of our community. The conference is filled with the most current information on mental health, substance use disorder and intellectual and developmental disabilities, led by caring health experts and people with their own lived experiences with these conditions.
The Hogg Foundation for Mental Health envisions a future in which all people in Texas thrive in communities that support mental health, achieve health equity, and promote well-being. This means that the extent to which people are connected to resilient communities that support their mental health is not determined by where they live, how much schooling they have, how much they earn, what they look like, what language they speak, who they love, or how they worship. People feel safe in their neighborhoods and experience a sense of control over their own lives. A broad array of institutions, programs and services are designed with mental health and well-being in mind

The Austin Area African American Behavioral Health Network (4ABHN) was created to help African Americans who are interested in mental health issues connect with one another. Comprised of behavioral health professionals, consumers, youth and their families, faith leaders, and community members, the network identifies and brings together local, recovery-oriented supports for individuals living with mental health, substance use, and/or developmental disabilities.
